If I ever come across any of them!

What are the top 3 in your rotation?
Great question! Currently, I'll put these razors in my top spots:

Vintage:
1 - Diplomat/President/'48 - '50 Aristocrat (these 3 are so wonderfully similar I'm putting all 3 in the top spot)
2 - 3 piece RFB
3 - '34 Aristocrat

Modern:
1 - Timeless Ti .95 SB
2 - Blackbird Ti SB
3 - WR2 1.25 SB
I used to have the Blackbird Ti ahead of the Timeless. But as my health & age have changed my skin, I now prefer the Timeless Ti over the Blackbird Ti.

Combined:
1 - Diplomat/President/'48 - '50 Aristocrat
2 - Timeless Ti .95 SB
3 - 3 piece RFB

My next purchase will be the Athena Ti.
In fact, I expect it to be produced any moment now. So maybe this week, I will be able to pay for it.

My favorite razors at the moment are:
Athena - marine bronze
Muhle Rocca - matte steel
Blackbird - polished steel

The arrangement is not random.

Nice list. How sure are you that the Athena will be released in Ti?

So far, the only two razors that peak my interest are:
Tedalus Velocity One
Smart-Helix Apollo Light with the more aggressive plate

I'm still not sure about the Velocity One though and I have to wait who knows how long before the Apollo is back in production, so I'm in no particular hurry at the moment.

Cool and slimy
I have given up on finding the "best ever" one razor quite a while ago.
There are so many fascinating and different razors out there that I still buy now and then another one.

There are many modestly priced razors that can deliver top tier results.
Not every of my most expensive razors is a top shaver.

I suggest getting a Blackbird SB in stainless steel, a Timeless Ti Slim 0.5 OC or .95 OC if the Slim rubs you the wrong way. They are great. You can still upgrade them to titanium.

If you are more into mild razors, try Lambda Ares and Athena. Bronze is absolutely fine for them, I got my Athena in stainless steel and given that my bronze Ares still looks pristine, I really say you probably don't need that one in steel or titanium.

There seems to be quite some difference between bronze and brass, despite them being so similar in material... I have a few brass razors that just look like brass doorknobs, no nice patina, they just look not good and maybe I can polish them up to shiny again, but see above, I greatly prefer the more expensive bronze alloy used by Lambda and Timeless.

Seems I went off topic... sorry, at least I was talking about razors. :)

Edit: All those heathen slant deniers should buy a Wunderbar or Superslant!

My exploding razor knows secrets
It's on the way and I should receive it in some time.

I accidentally found a 925 sterling silver razor made by hand sawing/bending/welding... by Italian craftsmen.
It comes from traditional silverware and jewelry workshops and does not belong to any of the wet shave brands we are familiar with.

For me, there's no need to pursue shaving nirvana anymore, so it's just pure fun hunting for interesting razors.
