Oatmeal with cooked apples, a fried egg, and the last of the blood pudding we had bought some time ago. Then I had a big slice of fresh warm squash pie with my wife's first attempt at clotted cream, bless her. A pot of tea.

Hominy cheese grits with chili-garlic sauce, fresh-squeezed OJ and a tankard of coffee. I just may have enough grits on hand to last until they open the border again and I can go stock up. Albers Mill rocks.

A single wide, thin pancake flavored with a little vanilla and topped with maple syrup.
Eggs Benedict with Bearnaise sauce instead of Hollandase sauce.
