What would your change if you could about your favorite MODERN RAZOR

Was thinking this am about all the modern Razors still in production & available today.

Have been looked at the YATES, but they do not offer a Polish Finish, the other one I am considering is a Lambda Athena, and honestly I do not hear much people do not like, but I wonder how grippy their handle is?

Have some favorite Gillette Vintage’s, but they are no longer being made, so Gillette is not going to revise what they are not building any longer.

Know Shane at Backland launched the Osprey, and has made a few updates, after customers gave feed back on some minor dislikes. Shane listen to his customers that is good business.

I wish I could have my Tatara Muramasa in titanium with a slightly longer handle, and knurled instead of dimpled.

I wish they would just automatically "portal" (full options) into my den.
And also in the dens of all our great members too....

You are considering some excellent options, for sure. I humbly suggest you add Wolfman to the list!!

My favorite, for sure is the polished SS WR1 SB; it ticks all my boxes!!! :popc::popc:

I'd add a pressure sensor, and a variable-frequency oscillator that told me (by changing pitch) when I was using too much force.

And another sensor (or set of sensors) and actuator(s), which could warp the edge of the blade _just a little bit_ , just before it was starting to cut into skin.

. . . . Now, _that_ would be a high-tech razor!<g>

Wolfman is interesting, and on radar. The thought decision is what plate in the right plate to order?

I wish a modern razor maker would offer an ivory handle. The Edwin Jagger DE87 is a tantalizingly close offering. If only it was true elephant ivory. Someone just offer an elephant ivory handle. Good grief. What are you waiting for? This is something that should have been available for decades. It's a gaping hole in the wet shaving world.

Ivory the Real Stuff is not allowed to be bought, sold, or trade unless you can prove it is PRE BANNED. This has made it tough to move Pool Cue with Ivory Inlays. One Well Know Pool Cue make had shall we say major charge level against him tying to sell some old inventory.

Not sure you were talking Real or Faux Ivory/
