What Whiskey or Bourbon Brand Do You Use For An Old Fashion?

Old Forester. Arguably the best "all purpose" bourbon around. Not unlike a Simpson Colonel X2L when it comes to brushes

I have Makers Mark so that's what I've used.

It's hard to argue with Maker's. I've used it in a Mint Julep and Whiskey Smash and both were excellent.

I've been on a Rittenhouse Rye kick lately. The price is right, the proof (100) makes great cocktails, and it is amazingly smooth to me. Makes a great Old Fashioned and a great Manhattan.
