What kind of beard do I have?

So, I hear talk all the time about a heavy beard, light beard, and medium beards. Could anyone define these for me?

These are not scientific terms but self-descriptions. What kind of beard do you think you have, compared to other men's beards you've observed? In the final analysis, you're the expert on your own beard.

I would define a heavy beard as (1) you get 5'0 clock shadow at noon and (2) you have to define where your neckline is.

Sounds like mine qualifies as a heavy beard. My whiskers are also as tough to cut as steel wire, which is why no blade I've tried is comfortable after more than two shaves.

Everyone thinks there beard is heavy and they have wiskers like wire. Oh yeah don't forget sensitive skin too. Truth is about 90% of beards and wiskers are pretty darn close to the same, and when you compare them to the other hair on your body you tend to think tough and thick. .
