What is your most versatile safety razor?

A recent thread about versatile blades got me to thinking ... what is the most versatile razor in your rotation? This would be the one that seems compatible with every brand of blade, and the one you reach for to tackle any and every beard condition, from touching up a light stubble to hacking down a week or more of whiskers.

Although this thread is posted in the DE forum, don't limit your answers to just DE razors. SE and Injectors are equally welcome to be discussed here.

I'd have to agree. My NEW is only two shaves into its second blade since I got it (which means that's only the second kind of blade I've ever tried), but it would be my go-to, if I didn't have a rotation set up.

well my Hoffritz slant is my best for the face, the Gem g-bar is my preferred head razor. but as I can't shave my head with the Hoffritz and I get damn fine face shaves with the g-bar, I would have to say my g-bar is my most versatile.

My aristocrat jr is my standard go-to. I just recently aquired a #16, so that has been getting some love as well, but the jr is still my most versatile workhorse razor.

I seem to get the best results from my F-1 Gillette Super Speed Flare Tip regardless of blade brand. I have used Racer, Dorco, Astra, Derby, Merkur, Rapira, Lord and probably about a dozen blade brands I cannot think of at the moment. It is my "Go To" razor.
