Multi bladed safety razors? what are there? experiences? (leaf shave)

I know of the leaf one
what else is there?
over all better than a DE or SE safety?

I get fed up with how long it takes me to shave well with my merkurs
and fed up with how fast cartridge blades go dull.

if i could justify the expense and waste i'd probably be using a gillete triple blade cartridge or similar, but i can't.

comparisions , experiences...

Just curious: With your experiences with multi-blade cartridge razors, just as a guess, how many shaves do you typically get from them? (I ask because I find different peoples' experiences with them to be quite interesting.)

At the moment i use gillette sensor blades when I use a cart razor. with 1 or 2 days growth i get about 5 shaves out of them before they are feeling rough. triple blade gillettes, wilkinson, a little better but i can tell they lose there edge after the first few shaves. But if I leave it a say 3-4 days with out shaving then use the carts its more like 2 or 3 decent shave. don't have massively thick beard, do shave my head.

Thanks for the feedback; it's interesting to hear peoples' experiences with cartridges. IMO the Defender cart is the best of the cartridge razors.

For multi-blade razors that use DE blades, I can only think of the Leaf (like you said) and also the Maxwell June (2 blades as mentioned here). I haven't tried either of them, but I find the Maxwell June quite interesting.
