My favorite US made vintage Gillette razor is the chrome Big Boy DeLuxe.

My favorite custom is my Bull Mastiff XL with Brit New head.


My favorite modern UK razor is the EJ Barley.


And my favorite modern German razor is the Pils.

Gillette NEW LC head on BRW 3 1/4" improved handle. Nickel plated.

Unfortunately the NEW LC head proved to be a little bit too agressive for me and I will not ask anyone to part with their BRW handle.

I think these days, a bottom dial will cost you a lot more than a Pils. There's a bottom dial on the bay right now: $700 asking price.

I have a Toggle but not the Pils, which IMO, is the best looking razor. Sleek, cool lines.
