What is the best shaving cream and moisturizer for a man's face?

I would like to know from other men what shaving creams and moisturizer's work the best. Please don't tell me what to look for as in, in ingredients but I would like to know from people's previous experiences with shaving creams and moisturizers. What works really well for you guys?

I will say Nivea Moisturising shave cream (zero irritation) & for moisturising I really like Anthony's line of products or Pre De Provence A/B. My face feels like a million bucks after. Both products are non-greasy & dry down nicely.

I will add anything in the Proraso line will suffice just fine though

Godrej Menthol Mist and Speick. TOBS Avocado is pretty close as well, but the first two are better IMHO. YMMV, of course.

Daniel Kern face moisturizer is the only moisturizer I will use. It's marketed specifically for those who have issues with acne but it is non-medicated and perfectly fine for those without acne to use. I also use it as an aftershave balm sometimes.

+1...when I started out I asked a similar question and got the same type of response. Take a look in the review section because a lot of people on this board have written some wonderful reviews that tell you a lot about each product.

But saying that, I like Nancy Boy Signature shaving cream and for aftershave balm I use Wesley & Scott Balms. W&S is well priced and comes in 4 scents(I like the mentholated balm).

T&H creams do a fine job. If you are looking low cost you might try KMF, which seems very moisturizing to me.

That's pretty much my opinion, too, although I'll also add Trumper creams to the list. I can't think of any moisturizers offhand, although there are some good a/s balms out there, such as those by Castle Forbes and The Gentlemens Refinery.

I agree.
Trumpers is a top shelf brand, absolutely amazing.
In the Trumpers line I love the Coconut Oil and Rose shaving creams in particular.

Oh, I see. When you said, "Out of this world," you were referring simply to its moisturizing properties, as opposed to the cream as a whole, yes?

Well theirs a lot of shaving cream that are good, in my limited experience i would recommend AOS, C.O. Bigelow, and T&H,(tried all three) the only thing i didn't like about T&H are the scents, but both their shaving creams and AB are excellent!!!

As for moisturizer for the face, I use Anthony Logistic and Zirh creams and to me i get excellent results....now that being said, that might not work for you, or you might think its a waste of money spending that much...but to me
I like them...and that's whats important..what you like!!!
