A really nice shave today with this soap sample. Omnibus makes such a dense lather, and quickly! The brush picks it up from the lather bowl faster than any other soap I've tried. I haven't used one of these blades in forever, and I found it somehow lacking in performance today. Funny, I used to consider it a favorite... There were a couple nicks at end-of-shave, but they closed up with the final icy cold rinse. I also had a little razor burn on my jawline. With that butcher's bill, let's call this a 8/10. Have a good week of shaves, gents!

Soap: Stirling Electric Sheep
Brush: PAA Solar Flare
Razor: Razorock Lupo .72
Blade: Gillette Platinum (3)
Post: Chiseled Face Santa Paula

Good evening! There was a nice groove to this shave. Wasn’t paying very close attention, half auto pilot, half just enjoying the process. It was sort of over before I realized it. But man, great results! BBS, no real feedback from the aftershave.

Sunday AM Shave
Brush: AKA Brushworx with Finest Badger
Soap: Ogallala Bay Rum Limes and Peppercorns
Razor/Blade: Rockwell 6s with #4 and Personna Platinum
A/S: Proraso balm and Clubman Pinaud Classic Vanilla
3-pass, smooth, but with some cleanup. 3rd use of the Personna, and final. 8/10.

Another wonderful soap with excellent lather qualities and a pleasant scent. The aftershave kinda matches nicely...
It was a very enjoyable shave with this blade paired with the razor. So smooth, easy, and efficient. 3passes without any issues for a bbs finish. Marvelous shave! Rating 10/10!

Very nice and mild shave with my first DE razor.

Razor: Gillette Slim Adjustable 1962
Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum
Brush: Simpson Isle of Man TT
Pre-shave: Hot shower
Soap: Stirling Coconut Lime 🌴
Aftershave: Stirling Coconut Lime 🌴

I felt like something tropical today so I chose the coconut lime. Fantastic!
Also tried a non typical direction for me by shaving my neck towards the ears. Worked good and landed me a rare BBS shave. 👍

I almost want that brush just for the name but it would likely cause me to shave too fast. 🏍 😁

Not made for these times.
Razor: Gillette Heritage

Blade: Treet Dura Sharp

Shave Stick: Arko

Brush: Hawkins & Brimble Synthetic

Aftershave: Bootlegger's El Dorado

Eye Gel: Neutrogena Hydro Boost

Treet Dura Sharp perform well for me. I'm still trying to figure out what Treet blades I like the best from the ones I've tried so far.

One tiny weeper on the chin that disappeared with the aftershave.

First time trying Bootlegger's El Dorado. I really love it. It will remain in my rotation from here on out. I can't quit smelling my hands now. :001_smile

A near perfect enjoyable shave this morning!

More Deep Thoughts than Jack Handy
Pre-Shave: Cold water splash - Cremo Classic shave soap (applied by hand - tube)
Soap: Arko 👍
Brush: Frankenbrush (Semogue Galahad handle with an AP Shave Co G5A synthetic knot)👍😍🤯
Razor: Wolfman WR2 SS SB 1.15 🐺👍😍🤯
Blade: Shark Super Chrome (3) 🦈👍
Post-Shave: Cold water splash - Stirling Witch Hazel & Aloe (Margaritas in the Arctic) - Lucky Tiger Face Tonic
AS: Chiseled Face Bay Rum aftershave splash 😍👍

Excellent Arko/Sharko August shave on two-days of growth, DFS/BBS with no blood. Shark Super Chrome will be getting swapped out for the next Shark variant, their stainless blade. Chiseled Face Bay Rum is a nice take on the scent.

No picture today...pressed for time.

Happy Shaves, everyone!

Soap: Stirling Noir
Razor: Thiers Issard 7/8ths
Brush: Simpson M7 synthetic
Aftershave: Witch Hazel / VIBR

Happy Monday! Got a busy day today.

Todays shave was with around 2 days of growth. Turns out I had a few blemishes but they're gone now.

Certainly been enjoying using Noir practically exclusively but having the itch to start using spicier scents. Really enjoying the residual bits of VIBR I'm getting whiffs of now. Can't wait for summer to finally end. I need cooler weather.

10/10. A few weepers but whatever. This edge feels great but I've been getting a few weepers here and there, of which this is me blaming an edge on poor technique.
