Mr. Obvious
Shaved at home today
Rockwell 6s plate 5

Gillette 7 O’clock Super Platinum 1st use. This seems to be a very popular blade on B&B. I haven’t used one in a long time so I gave it a try. They are one of the more expensive blades at $30 per 100 on Amazon.

Ethos Fresh Lime soap. Great lather and good slickness.

Zenith boar brush. One of my favorite boar brushes.

Thayers witch hazel
Proraso green aftershave
Proraso white balm
Alum feedback. Face-low. Neck-low.
The shave was comfortable and close

Leaf twig thorn..Kai (1)
PAA automatic age bay rum soap
PAA synthetic Pelegríno shave brush
PAA good vibrations after shave splash and Nivea sensitive post shave

The end result was a great BBS shave with 2 nicks..The Kai blade makes the twig thorn very unforgiving…The last time I used it I got a pretty nasty little cut..

August 8

Razor: Gillette Tech (Canada pre-war) w/ common bar handle
Blade: Lord Silver Star (3)
Brush: Omega 10081 beehive boar
Soap: ARKO stick + RR Black Label puck
A/S: DIY lemon witch hazel, La Toja splash + Osage Rub

DFS+

ARKO August experiment #4. Similar soap combo to yesterday with a different scent. Loaded heavier on soap and used more water. Much improved scent, residual slickness and post-shave properties compared with plain ARKO. Great performance for such an economical soap combo.

Monday morning shave

Cold water splash for pre-shave
Bicrops porcelain lather bowl
ARKO shave soap (ARKO August)
Simpson Trafalgar T3 Synthetic brush
Razorock Lupo 95OC w/ titanium handle
Gillette Nacet blade, (2)
Captain's Choice Italia after shave, graciously PIFed by @Captain Pre-Capsize

I got another stellar shave from the Razorock Lupo 95 OC. This was a three pass shave; WTG, XTG, ATG. Truly a BBS shave.

10/10!

Monday, August 8th- a surprisingly nice two-pass shave with a Treet 7 days blade loaded in a Tech, no mishaps, no remaining stubble, I'll score it a BBS, 10/10:

Razor: Gillette Tech
Blade: Treet 7 days platinum- this stainless blade is neither super sharp nor super smooth, but is a fine blade for me if shaving daily, seems quite forgiving
Lather: MdC Agrumes for Monday; we're going to travel again next week, so I'm going to use some favorite soaps before we leave, this is one with great lather
Brush: Zenith 506 unbleached- my use continues brush is performing wonderfully; this ma be the best sub US $20 brush I have
Post: rinse, then some Caswell Massey Lime AS; the LOTH likes this one, too bad it's discontinued

Have some fine shaves and a wonderful week!

Razor: Muehle R41 Grande / Zamak /
Blade: Tiger
Soap: Barbus
Brush: NOM Gustav
After: Proraso Wood & Spice balm

Rating: 8/10 BBS 2 pass (WTG, ATG) everything went ok, but sudden small pain during ATG pass on my neck, almost like when you cut yourself. No cut but not-so-small irritation.
Barbus is great croap.
