Beautiful bowl! You MUST report on the blades! I have never tried those. I do not believe I have even seen them before!

Used the blades for the first time today pretty smooth and not a bad shave overall.
I bought the blades in Bali indonesia on a recent holiday I to hadn’t seen them before.They seemed easy to find there in most supermarkets.The bowl was also from there.

Look what just arrived:

Yates 921-M in stonewash finish with extra brass combo (SB/OC) plate. Looking forward to shaving with this piece, and I appreciate the Nacet blades so well regarded on B&B. I haven't tried them but look forward to that as well.

I estimate this as an 18mm with a 40mm loft. It is very soft indeed with medium density and backbone. No idea of the age or brand but if anyone has any idea then please let me know. It has had a test lather and performs well; just in time for my holiday

When i use my straight razors,i feel my face burning a little when using normal edt,so having read the reviews of this stuff online regarding it being nice and soothing etc,i decided to try it for after a straight razor shave

Received these today, 3 new to me blades, Treet Carbon, Treet 7 days, Dorco Titan and one of the most dangerous blades on the market the Shark Super Chrome which gave me a mauling when I first started DE shaving.
There is also a RR Lupo 95 SB, a razor that has been on my grail list for a couple of years which I am really looking forward to using.
