What's new

What are you unpacking/ opening today, show pics or video, we love pics

Nice score! I just finished my first Polsilver SI blade after 12 or 13 shaves. I really liked it, I hope you do, as well. And the Bic Chrome Platinums are supposed to be a very sharp blade that lots of folks have as their favorite blade. You've landed two very nice blades, sir. Enjoy!

Thanks, I'm a big fan of BIC's, sharp, smooth and retain both for at least a week of shaving. Hopefully the PolSilver are the same. (Although part of me hopes they aren't given how hard they are to come by 😂)

2 orders arrived this weekend! Some Stirling sets of Executive Man and Baker Street, with some Proraso Green A/S.

My Mother in Law surprised me yesterday with a vintage find. She was at an antique store in Estes Park and thought about me.. I really do not know very much about these vintage Schick but caught up a bit this morning, very interesting history of this razor.. I believe the blades are original and this one was made between 1946-1948, please correct me if you know for sure.. Not sure how this will shave but will give it a good cleaning and take it for a spin.

I’m wondering if that is the original box. I believe that is an E series “Schick Injector”. It says Schick injector on the round base of the hinge whereas after the eversharp takeover the it says “Eversharp Schick” on the base. Generally indicating a G series.

I absolutely agree.. When I was researching this morning I was hung up on the year due to the discrepancy of the box and razor match.. I thought the G series was the closest. It's a keeper all of my vintage razors are 1950's or earlier and the 14K plating with the handle is gorgeous.

I was pretty excited to see this one when I got home. Karve Christopher Bradley Stainless Steel with Solid Bar B,C,D plates and an A open comb. I tried to order the B open comb before my order shipped but it was already shipped. Chris emailed me back and stated he would invoice me and send it to me with no shipping charge, on it's way. I ordered this on July 31st and received it today, 6 week lead time. The lead time was not an issue for me and the finished product is truly a work of art.
