Audiobook: "The Litigators" by John Grisham. A good commuting book.
At home: "The Mythology of Work" by Peter Fleming. Good, but I'm only getting started

Just finished Thirteen, by Richard K. Morgan. Way too long and convoluted, and chock full of snobby Euro Socialist pontificating. Disappointing, as the Kovacs series were some of the best sci fi novels I've read in a long time.

I’m in the middle of NK Jemisin’s “The Fifth Season” on audio. It’s the first of her ‘The Broken Earth’ trilogy, and all 3 books won the Locus Award for Sci Fi in consecutive years. Let me tell you, it’s phenomenal and one of the most original pieces of SciFi/Fantasy I’ve ever read.

Correction, she won the Hugo award 3 times in a row, not the Locus.

Fellow Readers:
Just finised the 'riveting' novel "We Were the Lucky Ones" by Georgia Hunter which is based on the "incredible true story of one Jewish family separated at the start of World War II, determined to survive—and to reunite—We Were the Lucky Ones is a tribute to the triumph of hope and love against all odds".

"Reading is to [the] mind what exercise is to the body". Joseph Addison

Just finished Gunpowder Moon, the debut novel of David Pedreira. A sci fi thriller involving a murder mystery on a future moon base. Not great, but quite good, especially for a debut novel. Published by Harper Collins, so this is not some self-edited mess off of Amazon. Worth reading.

I’m currently reading through Bernard cornwall’s War of the Wolf. It’s the latest book in his saxon series. if anyone is into historic fiction, Bernard Cornwall series are great

Finished NK Jemisin’s The Fifth Season on audio and am moving on to The Shadow of the Torturer by Gene Wolfe (on audio), recommended by Neil Gaiman as the best fantasy novel of the last 50 years.
