Thanks for asking the question, David. I was too ashamed to ask it myself! Are these some sort of honing stones for a straight? If so, I don't understand the rest of the presentation.
It is a Mooreayama Jnat Set with Matching Tomo Nagura, and 3-Piece Mikaws Shiro Nagura Set
for honing straight razors and knives of all sorts.

But did you see the BBS he was able to put on that rock!
With so many passes, the rock has to have some serious irritation.
I would be okay until the final passes, holding the stone in my left hand. That's when I would likely get the new nickname Righty.
