I didn't like many Beatle songs after A Hard Days Night, but I liked that one. When I was dating my wife, I was driving a '66 Pontiac "Candlelight Cream" Le Mans with a black vinyl top. My wife still refers to that car as the Yellow Submarine. She always had a name for our cars. I never understood why.

I am glad someone has warm feelings for the song "Yellow Submarine." I meant I was probably too hard on the album Yellow Submarine. I would say I am appropriately hard on the song "Yellow Submarine," which is very hard, even though I really hate to dis Ringo in any way.

I think I'm one of 3 or 4 people on the planet who likes George Martin's orchestral score on side 2 ...

Well, at least there is someone! I am not knocking anyone's taste. The concept of paying the full price of an album and half of it being that when all I wanted was Beatles bugged me though!
