Vintage Injector Blades

Anyone have any suggestions as to which are the better Vintage Injector blades. I do not really like the Chinese Schicks as new ones do not feel much different than ones I have used for 5 or 6 shaves. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

While not a suggestion, per se, I'll offer a question:

- Are the shaves good?

If they are, then treat the search and evaluation of vintage SE blades as an interesting excursion. Who knows, you may find that the price of the chinese schicks is worth what they offer. They are sharp and comfortable and cheap. -- perfectly serviceable.

I've tried a few vintage injector blades.
- P74
- Gillette Platinum Plus
- Schick Plus Platinum

- The first is most durable, and I find them very sharp. The first couple shaves seem a little rough, but this blade doesn't hit the sweet spot until shave 10 or so. I can easily get 20 shaves from one blade.

- The second I find to be excellent and very comfortable and sharp. I love the DE version of this blade and prize it higher than any other, so perhaps a little bit of bias creeps into my evaluation of the injector version.

- The third is a great blade -- plenty sharp and very smooth. They do last a little longer than the chinese schicks (I get about 7-9 shaves from those) and I get maybe 10-12 from them.

Hope it helps,

I wonder if these blades are same Chinese Schicks or not?

I pretty much agree with Chet on this, although there are times the P74* are second to the Gillette Plat Plus but blades are subject to personal preference. I will add though that the "vintage" blade that I find to be most consistant is the Schick KRONA Comfort blade.
