Vie-Long 16510 Silvertip

I know a few of you already have the high-loft (57 mm) version of this brush. Do you still like it? Does anyone have the stubby (50 mm) version? I like to face-lather, so yesterday I ordered the stubby version from Gifts and Care:


I already have the Vie-Long 13061 from Bullgoose Shaving and absolutely love the handle:


As I now keep the horse-hair brush at our cabin, I needed another brush for home, to alternate with this one and keep it company:

I have the original standard loft 16510. Workmanship is impeccable..The tips are as soft as a Kent,but the knot is fuller and with SLIGHTLY more backbone.This brush shaves like a warm cloud on the skin,not floppy,but supremely soft.

That is beautiful. I have that handle with a horse knot and really like it. These V-L badger brushes are really capturing my attention. I hope you enjoy it.

Thanks, gents! I am looking forward to a supremely soft, warm cloud of brush and lather on my skin (though I imagine the short-loft version will not be quite as soft as the high-loft version).
