VDH Luxury showing up in Walgreens

A heads up for anyone who uses or would like to try Van der Hagen Luxury shave soap. It's now showing up in Walgreens. I live in the Atlanta area and have found it in a couple of stores near me. If you want to see if it's in a store near you, go to the link below and click the "Find at your local Walgreens" link on the right. You can put in your zip code and it will show you stores in that area and indicate whether a store has it in stock. VDH Luxury is a very good soap for $5.00.

Ah, good-thanks. I just checked and it's available at a Walgreens very close to where I live here in Central Texas. I've been meaning to give it a try when it landed in B&M's as it's supposed to be a pretty good soap. I've used the other VDH versions and like how they shave.

It's not available at any of the stores right nearby me.

It is in stock at the store that's deep in the ghetto though. The same store that is the only one within a 40 mile radius of me that stocks Florida Water.

We are fairly near two Target stores. One has the VDH Luxury soap, VDH badger brushes and the Luxury shave kits along with Shea Moisture "badger"? brushes and their funky shave cream. The other target has nothing.

I've seen the VDH Deluxe at Wal-Mart but not the Luxury. However, I haven't been by my local Wal-Mart in a while so they may have started stocking it.

I'm checking availability between central Iowa and eastern Nebraska. Availability looks pretty spotty, but some of the Des Moines, Omaha, Lincoln, and Nebraska City stores do have it.

The Target store at Merle Hay Mall in Des Moines is where I found the VDH Luxury.

as for vdh, I bought my brother a stick of arko soap and the cheap cream and needless to say he wants more, more, more. Yes, the arko creams are rather good

While on the subject of Atlanta area barbers that carry shaving supplies, I go to Al's European Barber in Alpharetta (shopping center near the intersection of Haynes Bridge and Old Milton). Al is Turkish and carries several Arko varieties and some Turkish colognes. He also carries VDH soaps, including the Luxury and the Glycerin versions.
