Value of Toggle with Heavy Plating Loss?

Hi everyone, as you may have seen in my other thread, I found a Gillette Toggle at an antiques store this past weekend. I know this model is quite rare, having only been made for one year. Kind of curious what this might reasonably be worth?

Here are a few photos of the one I picked up:

I don't know if you can see it well in either photo, but this has very significant plate loss on the silo doors, on the toggle itself, and on the adjustment knob.

Also, I have not been able to get the adjustment knob to move. It is currently stuck in the 9th position (the most aggressive setting). Any suggestions on how to unjam it? So far, I have given it a few coats of Scrubbing Bubbles, and let it soak overnight in Barbercide. I can get it to wiggle, but it won't budge.

I have also ran a pipe cleaner underneath the head of the razor, but that didn't seem to help.

Thanks,

~John~

Plating loss is common in my experience. Also is a jammed adjustment mechanism. I had a toggle in a similar condition and could not fix it. I hope you have greater success.
