I used this cream fotr the first time and I like it. The scent did change a little when I whipped the cream up, but I wouldn't stop using it because of that. I still had a fresh scent on my face after I cleanded up. I remember one poster said that TOBS likes water. Ikept that in mind and had no problem making my lather. I also used more lather than I usually do so I had enough left over gor multiple passes.

I meant to say more cream than I usually use. I just realized I was being a little chinchy with the cream.

I've tried a few of the TOBs and I always used just a dab of the cream. I was always able to make enough lather but the shave felt really dry. Then I decided to use a lot of cream (swirled my brush once in it) and made mounds of lather and the shave was better.

With Tobs, I've found that more product and more water goes a long way.

I just found that out also. I have a lot of TOBS samples. So I tend to go light using them. If I had a tub for every sample I have, I'd be in for $300+. I have a couple of tubs of RR and I just wwet my brush and swirl it around in the tub then apply to me face. Even at that it's still going to take a while to get through these tubs and one was partially used when I got it.

I recently picked this up as well and loved the lather and feel! if only it didn't burn my my skin, I'd probably favor it over my current go-to Jermyn

I agree, TOBS top two creams IMHO. I have tried 6 or 7 of their creams. Both Avocado and Jermyn Street give me superior shaves compared to other TOBS creams. Lather is slicker and denser in my experience.
