Hi guys,

ok so I've taken a picture of the severity of my razor burn/ingrown hairs. You can also see how thick my facial hair grows. It is also extremely sharp, and on top of that, I have very dry and sensitive skin.

I just ordered the Merkur 38C, geo f trumpers coral skin food, geo f trumpers violet shave cream, my nik is sealed, and a badger brush to help with lathering the soap.

Any other advise or suggestions that might make my shave smooth, and help ease the problem that I am having would be great.

I was just thinking to myself about a soap bowl. Are there any specialized ones that you may be able to suggest that help keep the lather rich and warm?

Also, for my first few shaves, should i just be going WTG? Or would going WTG, XTG, ATG be more beneficial in training my facial hairs that "this is the new way of life"? My problem lies in that my neck hair grows in every single direction!

Any input would again be appreciated.

If you haven't seen Mantic's videos, I highly recommend them. He taught me everything I know about DE and it worked so well, it's perfect every time and no longer a challange. I have similar beard and other than good prep, finding the correct angle and WTB only for the first shaves, I can't think of anything else. Good luck.
