I just finished my first shave with my new UFO U2 handle and New DeLuxe head. What an awesome shave! I am usually not much of an open comb guy. I have shaved with Old Types and my Fatip and felt I had to be extremely careful (especially with the Fatip). The New DeLuxe head is hard to find I am aware, and I was lucky enough to find a nice Norfolk in awesome shape at a local antique store.
The head feels decidedly non-aggressive but mows down the whiskers so easily. Paired with the heavy UFO handle, I felt like I was in Heaven. I am one of those strive-for-BBS-every-time shavers, and I achieved it very easily with this combo. The handle is exceptionally beautiful. I really wanted a Gillette bulldog Old Type at some point, but now there is almost no point. The handle is that nice.
I think I posted a pic of the razor in another thread, so forgive the repetition, but I figured everyone would ask if I didn't put one.
You gotta' get one of these!
