TSA, new travel laws regarding knives

Any language on the new law that will allow us to carry our razors in carry on?

Most of my business travels are short and to save time at the airport I carry on only.

Straight razors and razor blades are still not permitted, even with this change.
A razor without the blade is permitted.
If you're a carry-on only kind of guy, you're stuck with carts, or buying blades at your destination.

That or mail the razor to the hotel, sucks Straight razor I get but a flimsy De razor if used as a weapon you are most likely to cut yourself up. lol

Unless you sharpen your Swiss Army knife really, really well.

I can't figure this out. They finally got something that could be used to really mess things up banned. Then they turn around and say that now its O.K. to carry some knives onto a plane. Remember in 9/11 they used a simple box cutter and look what happened. Oh well, that's the government for you. I think its another of their really dumb moves.
