Trumper's Cream

I have some Trumper's cream that I have made a few test lathers with. Have not shaved with it yet. The lather seems very slick when I brush it on my arm but does not seems as thick as some other creams like Proraso and Speick. The lather isn't airy but it's definitely not as dense as some others. Have you guys noticed this or am I not treating it right?

I know they don't add up, but you get the idea. :001_cool:

Sounds like a technique issue. Water/product ratio could be an issue, as Brucered has suggested. Personally, I didn't get mastery over my creams (Trumper or otherwise) until I ditched the lathering bowl and went straight to face lathering. Regardless of what your preferred technique is, though, Trumper is one of the top creams for a reason. Not everyone likes their scents, or value, but when you lather them right, they hold their own with any cream on the market.

Yes more product. Trumper's is excellent and has a lot more cushion and slickness than Proraso. Speick is lovely stuff.

Trumper's GFT is excellent.
