Tried Vostok for the First Time Last Night

And Wow! But an impressive wow! I definitely enjoyed the face freeze feel of the soap and as an added side benefit, it clears the nostrils.:biggrin1:

I can see why this soap is not for everyone but after an initial use, I'm definitely a fan. I may not use it in our cold Canadian winters but it's great on a warm summer evening.

That is one coldest shaving soap/cream that I have found.

Plan on using some QCS iced key lime for my next shave. It's just as cold.

The QCS Key Lime is another nice hot weather product. Just a little tamer than Vostok. If you want to up the game a little try Al's Chill Whip. All these are now affordably available right here in the GTA.

It was too match for my liking. My face felt like it was in fire (not cold feeling at all) for good 20 minutes

BigFoot

I wanna be sedated!
I am glad you liked the vostock freeze.......now to enhance it even more follow it up with some Osage Rub AS. I love that combo when it gets hot, just nothing more refreshing on a hot Texas morning.

Where can I find this Al's chill whip? I googled it and all that came up were your two posts on here mentioning it.

I love Vostok and recently tried the Iced Key Lime. I have used the Iced Key Lime puck twice and am disappointed in it. I had thought it would have the same cooling effect as Vostok, but it is not as strong. When this puck is gone, its back to Vostok for summer shaves.

Alright, I was inspired by this thread (and the hot weather here in Virginia...) Just ordered the Iced Key Lime in a soap and the Vostok as a cream. And a Basilica thrown in for good measure... I've been meaning to try the Vostok for a while.

Cheers!
