.. And loved it! Awesome shave stick. Spicy scent was not what I expected, but not bad nontheless. Amazingly slick lather... I can see why people like this stuff so much! Plus face lathering with the shave stick was fun! 
tried irisch moos for the first time..

I tried it last week for the first time too.
The lather was great, really slick and lubricating, but the scent did not work for me. Irisch Moos is now all gone, BST.
Next on the list to try is Mitchells Wool Fat, which is in my cupboard waiting for me to crack the nice paper.

Isn't the Irisch Moos wonderful? I've had a stick for a few weeks and absolutely love it!
When I lived in L.A. I found three sticks in a German Cosmetics store. You better beleive I got all of them. I milled one into a 1 cup pyrex dish. I like that alot better than using it as a shave stick.
Speick and Irisch Moos are my favorite soaps. Between those two and gold dachs, Germans make the best soaps IMO.

I have seen it comes in a shave cream also. Has anyone tried the cream?
The cream is good too, but not as good as the soap.
It's a solid performer, and if the scent twirls your tootsies then it's a big winner.
I happen to like the scent, kind of Irish Springy to me, but I see others see no relationship between the two scents at all.

an easier alternative if you want to face lather is to get the tabac shave stick, same formulation from the same company, slightly different scent, but not by much imho
