I just picked up a Ralph Lauren trench coat from Sierra Trading Post for about $170. It has a removable liner (buttons, not zippered. which I prefer) and I'm really happy with the fit and look. They don't have a lot left, but I thought I'd pass this along. One other bit of info, I originally ordered a size 44, which is my jacket/sport coat size, but I swam in it. Got a size 40 instead and it fits great.
Also, I was just watching the movie "Patton" again and it made me wonder if they're called trench coats because they were worn "in the trenches". Anybody know?
