I don't usually venture outside the shaving-specific portions of the general forum, but SWMBO and I recently found the french milled soaps at Trader Joe's (sold under the name Trader Jacque's) and I am happy to report that they are wonderful products, and about 1/3 of the price of the luxury brands (Kiehl's, L'Occitane, etc.). I particularly like the big bar with the oatmeal in it.

If you have a Trader Joe's near you, check it out. (SWMBO also likes their brushless shave cream very much. I can't use it because it doesn't require a brush. )

Their soaps are great and very inexpensive for what you get. The shea butter bar is also very soothing.

I just opened up the lemon verbena. 4 hefty oz, the scent fills the bathroom and the lather is terrific. Very good price as well and 3x milled with shea butter.

I don't think the oatmeal bar is 3x milled, but I've used it before and it's also very good.
