TOBS Sandalwood

I am a big fan of Taylor of Old Bond Street creams. Not only do they smell great, they are they wonderful performers and a tremendous value. Most recently I purchased Sandalwood. It's amazing!

BTW, it joins my TOBS Grapefruit and TOBS Mr. Taylor.

Yep, it's a great cream. Oddly, it reminds me of going to the pool on a hot summer day.

I love this cream. Nice clean powdery scent. Some complain that it doesn't smell like true sandalwood but neither does their avocado smell like avocado (which I don't see why anyone would want that) and that's another one of my favorite creams.

The preshave oil is a nice match, I just got mine.

I've got TOBS sandalwood & eton college, crazy about both. After reading this I'm wondering just how many scents they have. The coconut sounds like it would be divine.

Gary's sample shop has samples of 10 TOBS. So far I've tried

Coconut - Loved the smell before later, but a bit disappointed in the intensity after it made it on to my face
Shave Shop - Really liked this smell, in contrast to the coconut it smelled even better to me lathered up
Rose - Just to flowery, maybe I can get my wife to use it.

I'll have to try the Sandlewood next.

Sandlewood was my first TOBS cream. I love going back to it every now and then. However Jermyn Street is by far my favorite, Eton College is a close second.

I really like Eton College but I'm allergic to something in it. So Sandalwood is still my favorite, followed by lavender.

It is hard to pick a favorite TOBS cream. I am torn between the Sandalwood, Eton, and Avocado.

I use this one every day, as it's the only one that I own just now. Does Mr. Taylor smell as nice as I have read in reviews? Some say it is another classic barbershop scent...

The soap, to me, is an even better performer... but TOBS, in general, have very good scents and performance, and with decent prices.
One of my favorite British shaving brands.

I have used Almond, Sandalwood, Avocado, Shave Shop, Eton College, Mr. Taylor.......

All are fantastic, with the Avocado as my favorite.

Only the Rose and Lavender did not work for me...great lather but irritated my face.

TOBS Sandalwood Shaving Cream was my very 1st quality cream or soap. My beautiful SWMBO gifted it to me when I first got into the traditional way of shaving. I love my shave soaps but TOBS Sandalwood Shave Cream is my goto and favorite shaving cream.
