I've been using a sample of Jermyn St. cream for the last two days (face lather with Omega bambino), and have been experiencing above-average irritation with a DE89, Polsilver SI, and a 2-pass WTG/XTG shave. I'm wondering if it's something in the cream?

I've used the Jermyn St. lately with my DE89 and a Feather blade and I think this cream is fantastic. It is formulated specifically for sensitive skin and I really enjoy it. Maybe try using a little less water in your lather...?
What kind of irritation. I found Jermyn Street to really irritate my skin. It made my skin blotchy and itchy.

This, exactly. It's 7 hours later, and I still have red splotches on my cheekbone, above the shave line. I think I'm done with this cream (which otherwise smells good and lathers beautifully).
