Time For First Hone?

One of my razors hasn't been able to get it's keen'ess back. I do cotton/leather before every shave and passed them over my Spyderco UF yesterday. All are shave ready but Red Imp. So I pulled my Spyderco UF out and did 10/10/20 laps and it's shaving hair but not perfect. I have not stropped it on leather yet.

So when is it time to take it to my 8K? Or should I keep on the UF and strop it?

I don't know what grit the UF is, but do you have access to any CroOx?

I don't remember what the UF is considered. I think 12K but very slow. The other razors took very well to it. But I don't have any chromox and just placed an order for white paste from Dovo and didn't even look if Classic had any chromox.
