This Thread Depresses the Heck Out of Me

I was in a similar situation years ago except i was single and in my 20s at the time. I would recommend as least talking to a real estate agent. One that has been in the business a while. Have them give you valuation on the house. I know at least in my area there is a lot of 55 and older communities. They tend ti be very reasonably priced considering current market. Another option is mobile homes, i know that is taboo to some people but they are not the same as they were in the 80s. I have seen some new double wides that are really nice.
