This "Sticky" razor threw me out of the 2013 Sabbatical

Heya,
Thought I'd share with you something I found, its quite a nice razor can't seem to use it tho since it looks NOS with shipper, case, manual, blades. Everything is there and looks amazing.
Check out the following pictures, the design is beautiful.
Not a collector but I couldn't just let it pass me by haha

Really nice razor! I had my eye on one those on ebay but passed on it. Seeing yours makes me wish I hadn't. You really should take it for a spin at least once and let us know your impressions.

but given it was the razor that brought you down, you owe it to yourself and all the other sabbatical participants to shave at least once with it.

Good stuff, I wouldn't hesitate to use it, NOS or not, that bad boy deserves to be used.

There is always next year, super excited to have one tho. I will have to give it a try and post my results. It maybe NOS but it was ment to be used right? I'll post my findings this weekend. I think this would make for a great end of the week shave.

Soooo I caved and shaved with this beautiful razor, quite mild and very pleasant. There goes its NOS but it was well worth it, quite long and quite tacky when it gets wet. Useful when rinsing it out. Everything worked as it should, did a good 3 pass shave with IK.

Looks wonderful all shiny and crisp and mild, problem is I cannot get use to the tacky feeling. Its a hard sensation to describe, thus I'll admire it some more then maybe trade it for another razor. Alas I had super high hopes for this but sad to see it kicking me out of the sabbatical. I'll keep it around to give it another chance.

Mine was well used when I got it. Still sticky when wet. I enjoy using it with Feathers.
