What's new

theiving monkeys!!!

Today as I got in my car I realized that somethings were off. It was unlocked, the window was slightly down and things were not as I'd left them. Upon closer inspection I found someone had broken in and stolen my tool box (containing all of my hones and about half my hand tools), around $80 in cash and coin (emergency stash and a full baggie of coins ready for cashing in), a box of shotgun shells, and a handful of loose .223 (leaving the full box visible under the drivers seat, and the most annoying two freshly broken in cobs, a tin of low country tobacco and an still sealed pouch of Carter hall. Who the h*ll steals a mans pipes, thats down right cruel and uncalled for. To top it off they threw my covers (my uniform hats) everywhere. The only saving grace of the day is that the officer that came by to take a statement was very polite and not patronizing in any way, a rare occasion when a college student. Thanks for letting me blow off some steam...I think it's time for a drink and a cigar.

Definitely time for a drink and cigar. That's the second car break in in the brown leaf forum I've seen in 2 months.

My condolences.

As an Australian I am not 100% certain, but I believe that according to your "Bill of Rights", the cutting off of hands or stoning would be considered "cruel and unusual punishment". However, public flogging may be allowed. :)

That is lousy, I am sorry to hear it. The universe usually gets even with people, I hope that all the thieves' zippers rust.
