Paging Leresche owners. Are we sure the top caps arent Zamak?

I am far from a Leresche expert, having only owned six or seven examples, but I am pretty sure none of mine had a zamak cap. That said I have never owned that particular model. To be honest, in my opinion, the quality of the finish of the underside of that cap does not look up to the standard I would expect in a Leresche razor.
Vintage Razor are shaving history, and many still work like day they were purchased new, now if they could only tell stories.
I fear the previous owner already encountered this problem and tried to fix it with Marine weld. It looked off from the start. At least I managed to get 3 shaves out of it.
They have used zamak for some entry-level models, aluminum as well, but this one was supposed to be brass. And yes the previous owner tried to reglue the screw or to glue a compatible one.
I could have guessed, only paid 14 euro's for it.
Still think he should have mentioned it.

The head is probably a match for yours. The baseplates and handles are not high quality, though.

I confirm that caps shown above are perfectly compatible with your razor 
Where are they from? The baseplate dont appear to have leresche stamping.
These are called "Leresche #901", they were made by Leresche as their cheaper entry-level option, this is why they didn't care marking them. Here is an old official Leresche flyer promoting this model for export, to resellers/wholesalers (fairs, markets, bazaars...) :

Well shoot, I was posting about my Barbasol Floating head for @Guido75 and came here to look for more images of it but doesn't look like I ever posted any of it.
Absolutely great razor for being on the more aggressive side but I don't find it to harsh. Very efficient.
I'm not sure this was ever used before I got it. Extremely minty.

Agree - the floating head is an excellent razor
I got this razor from Sweden. As you can see it has a bakelite "differential" or "asymmetrical" base. And there's no brand markings on the razor or the case it came in. The vendor had no idea what it was either. It seems a bit light for my tastes and it doesn't scream "quality" IMHO, but we'll certainly give it a go! Anyone come across something like this before? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
