What's new

The “Mary” Widow strikes again.

I went to visit my favorite widow (from a previous post) named Mary to do a little yard work over the Memorial Day weekend and she has again given me another little gift. She was so surprised in my interest of her fountain pens, that she offered me another vintage fountain pen. I am hoping that someone in the forum knows a little about this pen.

Cool score! It would help the ID process to have a few more pictures, particularly a close up of the nib and also to be able to read what the clip says.

I will try to show close-ups of the nib and clip. The nib says Lifetime 8 Stainless. The clip says VON BAUST.

Reportedly (ala FPN) made by National Pen Company of Chicago.

Thanks for the help Mike, this Pen has a nice look to it, but wasn't popular. Mary said that it had belonged to her brother Frank and he passed away a few years ago. I think that Frank lived in Chicago most of his life.
