How do they rate in method shaving to you? Which do you prefer?

The grain of my beard is mostly L -> R and trying to accommodate each follicle on my face seems pretty limp wristed. Am I not the master of the blade?
I've been cutting forms since I first started shaving. I only stumbled into formal forms as a direct result from being miserable with the multi-blade shavers I used over three years ago.
Since I first started DE Shaving and then discovered Method Shaving with Hydrolast I've gained a great and clean hobby and a smooth face too!
