I was at the Williams-Sonoma store on Michigan Avenue today browsing around... I guess they started to carry Technivorm Moccamasters (drip coffee makers), which they had about 5 models on display. I asked the sales person how long they have had them... he said, "only a week, but they have been flying out the door". Retail was $299, which is more than you can typically get them from Sweet Marias, Clive, etc.
Thought this was interesting as now there is a store you can check it out in person before you buy online... Also, who knows if these will ever end up at their outlet stores or if they may sell replacement parts.
