Tabac soap

Just wanted to share my first experience with this great soap. I've used cella, mwf, several TOBS creams and soaps and Proraso green. This soap makes some of the best, if not the best lathers of any of them. The scent is pleasant but I just like the smell of sandalwood. I might try mixing the TOBS sandalwood and Tabac. The most impressive thing is how much slick lather I got with just a few swirls over the puck. I'll post the results of the mix after my next shave.

One of my favorites. I participated in Tabactober and used Tabac soap for the first half of the month everyday. It's the first soap I used regularly for a long period of time so I got to know it well. Love the scent too.

Tabac is my gold standard for shaving soap performance. Some folks don't care for the scent, personally, I like it.
But for making a rich, smooth lather and allowing a close comfortable shave, I don't think there is any soap that is significantly better.
I have a dozen pucks, 4 sticks a 2 extra mugs with pucks in my storage closet right now. If I had to choose one single soap to use from now on it would be Tabac.

Well I think I may have to get some then. I remember liking the scent of the aftershave from years ago (something my father used) and I've been on the fence as to whether to purchase. After all, whats the point of a nice scent if it doesn't perform well.

There is nothing better!! I gave got em all, I have used em all and Tabac rules. Shaving with the Tabac soap followed by the Tabac Aftershave Balm is simply shave heaven!!!! Followed by Arko as a close second.

My wife doesn't like the smell so I try to use tabac cream and splash and balm on days when I work late to minimize
wife interaction.

Every week I have at least a Tabac Tuesday, sometimes I drop in a second use of it as well. It was the first soap I lathered up and just went "Wow... that's amazing stuff...".

Do you know the superlather trick? Load your brush with Tabac soap and then add a little of your favorite sandalwood cream to brush or lather bowl. Then you can make lather that is really Super!

I'm not sure if it's the best, as I haven't tried them all yet, but it gets the most love.
