I really like the TABAC soap, so was thinking of putting a request on the BST for a trade for the TABAC balm (or possibly the splash), but I've seen that a few people report that they don't think those products smell much like the soap. Before I try to obtain some, I wanted to see if most of you guys think the balm and/or splash smell like the soap. Thanks for any feedback.

The Tabac ASB does NOT smell like the soap ... each item in the Tabac range has its own unique aroma. They smell great by themselves, but put 'em all together and its out of this world.
Be aware that Tabac ASB is more of a milk than a balm. The first couple times I used it, I squirted out a lot more than I intended. A little bit goes a long way.
Its far and away the best ASB I've got. Too bad I can only use it following a Tabac shave.

I had a little trial of the aftershave lotion and it smelled really good. Similar to the soap but not exactly the same. But still good with decent staying power.
+1 for Tabac ASB scent (not the best balm for soothing or moisturizing)
I love the Tabac ASB and I think it is the best product in the entire Tabac-line. The scent is not identical to the soap but they are clearly related and a good match.
I really like it but it is expensive. The tube usually dispenses more than I need. It is difficult to control the tube distribution which makes it even more "expensive".
+1 agreed. The ABS is superb but as strong as the splash. The tube is perfect for travel.
