I'm looking for a short/mid range scope. I'm very happy w/ my Bushnell Elite 6500 but don't want to drop that kind of $$. I've been reading some very good things about Swift's Premier line: many folks are getting exceptional performance at very low prices. Swift makes a 2-7X 40mm that looks tempting. Does anyone have experience with the Swift Premier?

Haven't owned one or shot one myself, but I have always heard good things about them in the forums. Especially in the "bang for your buck" department. I wouldn't hesitate to put one on any of my rifles.
Also, check out Primary Arms. Their scopes are made in China, but designed here around their manufacturing processes to get high quality for a low price. I've read extended testing (over 1 year of testing on a .308) and all is good, holds zero, shoots the box well, returns to zero, etc.
