There are many great blades out there but I always get consistently excellent results with Gillette Silver Blue.

If I have to pick only one, then Gillette 7OC Green. I also like Personna Med Preps and Derby depending on which razor. But I feel like I should reexamine GSB.

While I can make any blade work in any razor, my favorite blade is dependent upon the razor. Generally speaking I prefer sharper blades in mild razors and mild blades in aggressive razors. How's that for a non-answer answer?

I just had my first shave with a 1970 P model Gillette Super Adjustable long handle. It was probably up there with one of the best shaves I ever had in wet shaving to date.

Yeah I think I just had the right touch, the razor is in superb nick and the lather was really nice (Thanks Reef Point Soaps!!) but I think part of it is the use of a Gillette Silver Blue. If I keep finding razors this thing is great in, I am going to have to say the GSB is my #1 favourite. It's a real smooth shave! I haven't had a bad shave with this blade yet.
