Stainless Steel blade

I used a stainless steel blde in my 1924 today and got a good shave. I've been shaving everyday so it was difficult to get the really short wiskers.

I much prefer the Gem SS blades to the Carbon Steel ones. Twice I've tried using the Carbons and it feels like I ripping my face off.

Good thing the stainless steel blade worked for you. For me the carbon blades pull and tug a bit though (they do cut) I can make them last a long time. The stainless steel blades are smoother. Good going on the 1924 also.

I once did a mistake of using a carbon blade in an open comb micromatic...
It took my skin about 2 weeks to fully recover from that...
