Spoiled Shaviig Cream????

Is this possible?

Before New Year I bought from ***** a tube of English shaving cream made by one of the big 3 T's. It was not smelling strong enough and it didn't make good lather. I thought it's my poor techniques( Before I returned to DE razor after 30+ years I shaved for several weeks with plastic razors, but using cream and brush).
In the beginning of the New Year I got several shaving cream samples and among them two from the same T, but with different scents. Both work fantastic for me. Today I tried again the first one...and again didn't like it. Could it be spoiled? I know it sounds stupid, but don't have any other explanation. Help!:blushing:

It took me a long time to try and get a good whipping cream lather on the 3 t's. The biggest question I have is...

What sort of water do you have?

If its hard, its going to be extremely difficult to get a good strong smelling lather, without using loads of product..

If its soft its a lot easier.

Either way I notice the big thing for me is to work at it till it becomes nice n thick.

With Trumpers and T&H, I never found the smells all that strong...

I reside in NYC and the water is soft here. And also I don't have problem with the other two creams by the same company. Just the opposite - they are fantastic.
My question is could it be possibly shaving cream to get bad because of being stored in a very dry(wet) place or in very cold(hot) environment. I bought the bad one from a very good online seller and I am sure it's not a fake one.

Yes, it is possible for a cream to go bad. I'd suggest giving it a good mix -- sometimes that helps. If not, contact the vendor.

If I were you, I would stay away from the 3Ts creams that come in the tubes. The pots are far more popular than the tubes, and it's possible that some of the tubes are old/expired stock. The pots also cost less per ounce.

No idea what the problem is with your particular tube, but you might want to contact the vendor and describe your problem in detail to them.
