Thank you! Yes, I have no doubt that it is the plating. The brass without plating and stainless Overlander razors do not have this issue. I may be a fan.

This was a much better shave than on Monday. The GSB blade performed amazingly good in the R89 with the Destroyer handle. This was a nice 2 pass (WTG) CCS+. Not yet in the DFS league but very close. No nicks, irritation or weepers.

I love B&M's Seville shaving soap. In combination with the synthetic Arno brush, a few splashes of water and a dab of YBN Glycerin/olive oil in the lather I had a full scuttle of slick and creamy lather in no time. A splash of water in the scuttle for the second pass and the bowl was full again. The addition of Glycerin to the lather works wonders. I think I read somewhere here that this approach may be considered Uber-Lather.

4711 is a great post shave product and even though it is a Cologne it doesn't hang around for a long time. It just stings a bit more when applying. I may at some point try out 4711 Aftershave Lotion, but as I have an aftershave from Japan coming in the next few days, I might just hold back for a while.

Aftercare was Thayers Witch Hazel and Aloe Vera Gel for hydration. The final touch of today's shave was Creed Himalaya which indeed gets better over time.

Comments	This is the fourth excellent shave with the Karve SB razor and a Wizamet blade. At first, I was not a fan of the Karve Bradley razor. I did not find it as smooth as my other razors. However, once I began to use a steeper angle and took my time shaving the results were excellent. Today’s brush was a “big boy,” the Paladin Chief. This was the 119th shave with the Williams soap. A perfect shave. Have a wonderful day, folks.
