Hello fellow B&Bers!

This SOTD Theme Week has a sports twist…

Many of us are playing and watching soccer, golf, baseball, cricket, lacrosse and other sports this time of year.

AND it is a huge time for fans of the Euro Cup and Copa America. Regardless of who wins out of England and Spain as well as Argentina and Columbia on Sunday, let’s see some soccer (ok, football!) team spirit!

Let’s also see some baseballs, football tickets, fishing rods, golf clubs, hockey pucks, cricket bats, one of this jai alai scoopy thingies or anything sports related. Even a pair of boxing gloves or Ninja throwing stars would work. A pic of Sporty Spice or a bottle of Polo Sport or Dior Homme Sport cologne would be acceptable as well. Have some fun with it!

And if you don’t have anything sports themed… post pics of your shave or just tell us about it!

As always, being creative and having fun IS mandatory but sticking with the theme is NOT mandatory but encouraged.

I didn't know what the theme was going to be when I shaved this morning, so nothing sports related unless the ebonite brush handle qualifies, being the material used to make bowling balls. That brush handle was made by Leo Frilot and I have never seen ebonite polished so beautifully. The ZFG soap and splash were a limited release with proceeds donated to PTSD charities. The soap was made by Jeeves of Hudson St., an artisan who is missed. The razor is a Timeless .78 Bronze holding a med prep.

What a great shave I had today. Nacet with 14 shaves behind showed a magnificent smoothness. I did my usual 2 passes (xtg and atg) achieving BBS on the cheeks and DFS+/BBS on the neck.

Fatip Slant is such a superb razor, with no aggression but x100 effectiveness, I like it much more than the regular straight bar version. Proraso green soap is a great assist for a summer day, and Simpson brush helped Italian stuff show its best.

Comments	This is the third shave with my Merkur 37c slant razor with a Wizamet blade. This shave was perfect. Today’s brush is the Muhle Silvertip Fibre. At one time this was my travel brush. I replaced the Muhle with a brush made by Rudy Vey. This was the 63rd shave with the Haslinger soap. Loading the brush was a struggle since so little soap was left. I had to scrape some soap and lather it in the Captain’s Choice bowl. Have a good day, folks.
