In the spirit of enjoying a "cheapie" shave, let me say up front, if you don't have a Lord L6 (LP1822L) you really need to buy one. Mine cost $6 nearly two years ago, now they are $7 on Amazon with free Prime shipping. For the quality of shave, it's one of shaving's best bargains! YMMV, of course.
OK, so how was the shave? Great! Using a light touch for a three pass shave, I got a super shave with no weepers, etc. and no irritation. The shave was BBS on the face, DFS on the neck. Paired with a new Perma-Sharp blade, this combination rivals razors costing 10X as much, easy. Very impressive!
Also performing at high levels, the XXX soap and Maggard brush, both bargains and exceptional performers. Cheap shaves can be excellent!
