Tried the Benton Clay shaving soap again, this time with a boar brush. It was a very good shave! The lather produced with this soap has a very good glide and a nice feeling on the face.

This is my 500th post! Yeah!

Great shave today with the Red Tip. I still think I prefer the open comb razors, but it was a nice change. Day 2 with the Voskhod was rather nice, a sharp and smooth blade for me. Nice way to start the week.

The original blades are definitely not as comfortable or sharp as current blades, & I think they may be from before "comfort coating" existed. However, they're still sharp and smooth enough to allow for a DFS if used carefully, and that was the case today.
