A really perfect 3 pass Shave a 10/10
The shaving cream is probably not
Going to be many top favorites list but
I really like it a lot , in fact it's quickly
Becoming one of my favorites, the scent
Is a rather strong woodsy and a very tiny
Hint of bourbon, the lather is very slick &
Long lasting, for me this cream is a top
Performer. Picked it up at HyVee's for
$6.59 and it is the largest tube I've ever
Seen.

Friday, 10/11:

Razor - Karve brass closed comb, D plate
Blade - Astra SP (3)
Brush - Simpson's Chubby 2 (face lather)
Soap - Tabac
Aftershave - Brickell unscented

Hoo boy. I haven't had a shave this close in quite a while. The Karve affirms its spot as a top performer. The D plate probably isn't an everyday baseplate for me, and I might pick up a C for that, but it's still super smooth and holy crap does it shave close. After one pass, I actually could've stopped there, and no other razor does that for me. Slightest bit of irritation afterwards, but the blade was a bit used, and that's just sort of the price you pay. I'm near-BBS with a two-pass WTG-XTG shave, which for me doesn't happen, usually DFS. The Chubby performed much better for me than the first use, producing a superb Tabac lather (of course) and the blade was able to just glide through my stubble. Incredible.
